What makes Dimora Bellosguardo so special is the uniqueness of its location. Set in the peaceful hills that encompass the city centre, yet within a 10 minute walk to many of the city’s main attractions. This is a luxury afforded to no other villa rental in Florence.

Feast your eyes on the sprawling city from the terrace, and then head down for lunch to Piazza Pitti (14 minutes walk), or stroll across the famous Ponte Vecchio (18 minutes walk) lined with jewellers, art and antique dealers.

A Singular Villa Design

While the location is steeped in history, the design of Dimora Bellosguardo is strictly contemporary. Modern domotics are combined with high-end designer furnishing and decor to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay.

In fact Dimora Bellosguardo defies the boundaries of classical Florentine architecture. Curated by a renowned Italian architect and featured in a Ridley Scott movie, the villa is one of the most highly sought-after holiday properties in the Villa Italy collection. It’s the perfect setting to reconnect with family or friends, or book for a business meeting.

Where Indoors meets Outdoors

Designed to let natural light and warmth flood into the rooms. Large patio doors from the living area and bedrooms access the terraces and garden, and frame the surrounding landscape like living pictures. The living space affords spectacular views to Firenze and the Tuscan countryside.

Select, Cook and Dine

Prepare your meals in a chef-grade kitchen, selecting only the finest organic vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden. This is a dream kitchen, featuring all of the appliances and utensils you’ll ever need to conjure up some Tuscan culinary magic during your stay. The stainless steel workspace opens out to the organic vegetable garden and for inspiration you have a view to the Palazzo Vecchio (town hall).

Don’t feel like cooking? Our superb local chef will prepare meals for you.

Dinner is a special time at Dimora Bellosguardo, with everybody gathered around the slate dining table, in a space opening out on three sides to the terrace. Good company, excellent Italian cuisine, and a bottle or two of excellent wine. Finished off with the scents and sounds of a perfect Tuscan evening pervading your senses.

The Roof Terrace & Garden

A spectacular view deserves a very special observatory. At Dimora Bellosguardo you can appreciate the view from above and below. The villa features a beautiful terrace on ground level furnished with sofas and coffee tables, perfect for an afternoon aperitivi or after dinner cocktail.

For an even better perspective, head up to the roof terrace, complete with Jacuzzi, relax and dining area and outdoor kitchen. From here you get a birds eye view of Florence’s iconic monuments and buildings. Or recline on one of the sumptuous loungers and contemplate the starry night skies, just as Galileo did in this very spot, four centuries past.

Relax in Style

The ultra-stylish living area has a distinctly retro feel. The two green armchairs that welcome you could be just off set from an episode of Mad Men. The purple velvet curved sofa is gorgeously opulent and positioned perfectly for guests to relax and wonder at the spectacular views to Florence. Or grab a book from the cool cubit bookshelf behind you and enjoy some quiet time. Just you, a good book, and the delicate sounds of a Tuscan afternoon.

Serene Bedrooms

There are three double stylishly appointed bedrooms. All the beds are fitted with super comfortable hand-made mattresses, anti allergenic pillows and luxury linens. The master bedroom leads out to the terrace and features an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. The second bedroom offers a separate entrance.

Bedrooms two and three each have their own bathroom with shower, and there is a separate guest bathroom next to the dining area

The villa benefits from parquet floors throughout. Pure comfort when you wake up in the morning and pad along to the kitchen to see what’s for breakfast. No need to pack slippers for a stay at Dimora Bellosguardo.

Our Guests Say…

Dimora Bellosguardo is a wonderful villa in a lovely location, close to the city but in a hilly area, overlooking a breathtaking view of the Florentine monuments, all visible from the the main facade and caressed by the grazing light of the sunset.
The recent and very accurate renovation in a modern, essential style was executed with precious materials and it offers absolute comfort, both in terms of size and distribution of the internal spaces.
The garden is pleasantly shaded in summer, very well-kept, it also offers a pleasant opportunity to be outdoors on sunny winter days. From my point of view, this is the ideal villa for a holiday in Florence!

Francesca Volkhart - Italy

Dimora Bellosguardo is a villa that I would call unique for location, architecture and finishes of great class. Designed and furnished with maximum taste, it offers all the comforts for a stay of full well-being and relaxation.

The villa is just a few steps from the center, in an environment of olive trees and flowers. From any side you can enjoy the most incredible view of the city, with the hills of Fiesole and Settignano in the background.

Living in the Dimora Bellosguardo left me a wonderful feeling of joy and desire to return.
