Getting there

The nearest airports to Forte dei Marmi are Pisa Galileo Galilei airport (37 minutes) and Florence (1hr 28mins). You can also fly into Milan, Bologna or Rome airports. There are direct train connections (1hr) from Pisa to Forte dei Marmi.

If you plan on a relaxing holiday and staying around town, you can get away without a hire car. However, if you plan to drive to Monti di Luna then the town is located on the A12 autostrada (highway) which runs from Florence to Genoa.
